Co-Founder & Global CEO

Cobx Gaming Pvt. Ltd.

Mujahid Rupani, popularly called Mojo, has always been a technology maverick who embarked on his journey in the burgeoning technology sector in 1999 and continued on a path that would see him found one of India’s most promising technology companies.

Mojo’s humble beginning as a webmaster enabled him to capitalize on the opportunity to sharpen and enhance his skills and work on one of the top 4 portals for the 1999 ICC Cricket World Cup, which helped launch his consulting career in infrastructure design for a prominent broadband network in Mumbai. After multiple projects in implementing complex network lines to keep pace with the new digital revolution in India, and with in-depth experience in the field, in 2001, Mojo along with Mr Madan Desai headed the Internet Service Division of Compulink India Pvt. Ltd. with the goal of providing seamless broadband services to the local market.

Compulink’s success enabled Mojo to expand into Telecom with the founding of Golden Tiger Telecom Pvt. Ltd. in 2003. The company rapidly grew from 8 clients to over 550 in a very short time with several successful projects with companies such as CEAT Ltd., Bayer Pharma and the Poonawallas. Having established a reputation for rapid and effective execution of projects, Mojo began consulting with Route Mobile Limited as the Chief Technical Officer and this brought him together with the Rajdip Gupta. Together, they identified a huge opportunity in the E-sports and Gaming industry and in 2017, Rajdip and Mojo founded Cobx Gaming Pvt. Ltd.

The global gaming industry is massive and India has tremendous opportunities in the segment where Mojo and Rajdip are working to bring awareness and organization to this nascent sector. Mojo’s expertise in Linux, virtualization, SAN technologies, routing, management and entrepreneurship make him one of the youngest, most promising tech talents in India today.

Mojo loves to indulge in his love for food and reading in his leisure time. His favourite dish is the Seekh Kabab and considers How To Kill A Mockingbird to be amongst the finest books ever written.
