Chief Marketing Officer
Pranab Punj is the Chief Marketing Officer for Kinsane Entertainment Inc. As a seasoned marketing
professional with 16 years of global experience in building brands for the media, entertainment, and
digital industry, Pranab leads the efforts to take Kinsane’s fun characters to kids across the world.
Before Kinsane, Pranab was Vice President – Global Marketing at Vserv, managing its brand and driving
communications, research, events and digital marketing. Earlier, as Director of Digital Media at Viacom
18, he led marketing and the web business for regional language channels and brands, such as
Nickelodeon, VH1, and Comedy Central. Pranab was instrumental in building the digital media business
of Turner Broadcasting Systems from scratch. He also spearheaded the launch of India’s top online
gaming portal and award-winning brand Zapak across platforms.
Pranab’s contribution in this area has been recognized through several awards, such as Top 100
Marketing Leaders, ‘Best Digital Marketing Professional’ at Mobbys, and ‘Digital Media Campaign of the
Year’ at CMO Asia. He is on the jury of several noteworthy industry awards and events, such as E4M Ink
Awards, DMA Content Marketer of the Year, and Government of Karnataka and IAMAI Mobile 10X
Hackathons. Pranab is also a regular speaker at industry events such as DMAi, IAMAI, and IIT Kharagpur.
Pranab has a postgraduate degree in management from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
Pranab is a die-hard Batman fan, and he loves immersing himself in comics. If he were to look back at his
11-year-old self, his advice to himself would be to make the most of those carefree years – be curious,
explore, have lots of fun, and read lots and lots of comics.
